ITINERARY:

DAY 1: ERRACHIDIA – ZIZ VALLEY – ERFOUD – MERZOUGA

We will begin your 3-day desert tour from Errachidia by picking you up at Moulay Ali Cherif Airport in Errachidia. We will then drive along the Ziz Valley, stopping at a panoramic view to enjoy and take pictures. Afterward, we will continue our journey to Erfoud, the capital of fossils and dates. Upon arrival at Merzouga, we will find camels waiting to carry us across the golden dunes for around an hour to reach the camp. We will have a hearty dinner and enjoy Berber music around the campfire with locals under the stars before overnighting in a private tent.

DAY 2: FULL DAY DISCOVERING MERZOUGA AREA – OUZINA

On the second day of your Sahara Desert adventure, we’re taking you on an explorative journey you will remember. We recommend waking up early to witness a serene sunrise from your campsite. Savor a delicious breakfast before we pick you up in a 4×4 vehicle to embark on our thrilling adventure. The first stop is the nomadic area, where you’ll be welcomed into one of their tents for tea. Learn about their way of life in this harsh environment and gain a new perspective.

Next, we’ll visit an abandoned village and explore the Galena mines. You’ll witness the remnants of a once-thriving community and see how the mines were a significant part of their livelihood.
Then, we’ll drive to Khamlia, where you’ll have the opportunity to listen to the locals play Gnaoua music. This unique style of music originated in southern African countries.

Enjoy a delightful lunch at a charming local restaurant before we proceed to the Ouzina desert and witness the sunset from the magnificent dunes.

DAY 3: OUZINA – RISSANI – ERRACHIDIA – TRANSFERT TO THE AIRPORT
