ITINERARY:

DAY 1: Arrival in Casablanca

Your 17-day journey begins with a warm welcome from our knowledgeable driver/guide at Mohamed 5 Airport in Casablanca. From there, you’ll be whisked away to your comfortable hotel, where you can unwind and prepare for the exciting adventure. We’ve covered all the details so you can focus on enjoying your trip.

Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat

After a hearty breakfast, we’ll start our day with a visit to the Hassan II Mosque, a testament to Morocco’s rich architectural heritage.

We’ll then journey to the capital city, where we’ll explore significant landmarks such as the Hassan Tower, the Oudaya Kasbah, and the Mausoleum of Mohamed V. We’ll also take a stroll in the Andalusian Garden, a tranquil oasis nestled in the heart of Rabat. You’ll have ample time to unwind and soak in the beauty of the medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Day 3: Rabat-Asilah-Tanger

Begin your day in Rabat with a hearty breakfast before embarking on a scenic journey to the charming coastal town of Asilah. When you arrive, take in the town’s enchanting ambiance as you wander through its whitewashed streets adorned with colorful murals. Explore the ancient ramparts and picturesque squares while enjoying the views of the Atlantic Ocean. After soaking up the beauty of Asilah, continue your adventure to Tangier.

After having lunch, venture to the famous Hercules Cave, a natural wonder steeped in myth and legend. Marvel at the breathtaking views of the Strait of Gibraltar before heading to Cape Spartel to witness the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea meeting. As the evening approaches, delve into the vibrant medina of Tangier; finally, conclude your day with a stay in a traditional riad, where you’ll be treated to warm Moroccan hospitality and a taste of authentic cuisine, ensuring a memorable end to your adventure.

Day 4: Tanger-Chefchaouen

Begin your day in Tangier with an early morning departure towards the charming blue-washed city of Chefchaouen. As you wind through the scenic Rif Mountains, take in the breathtaking countryside views. Upon arrival in Chefchaouen, immerse yourself in the town’s enchanting ambiance as you explore its maze-like streets adorned with vibrant blue buildings. Visit the bustling medina, where you’ll find an array of handicrafts, textiles, and local treasures. Take the opportunity to capture photos of the picturesque alleyways and stunning panoramic views.

In the late evening, we recommend hiking up about an hour before sunset to the top of the hill where the Spanish Mosque is located. From there, you can witness the amazing sunset and enjoy the breathtaking views of Chefchaouen with the last reflection of sunlight. After that, return to the central plaza for dinner and live music to experience the lively night vibes of this city.

Day 5: Chefchaouen-Voulubilis-Fes

After enjoying breakfast at the riad, our authentic journey will begin with a scenic drive through the High Rif Mountains to the Roman Ruins at Volubilis, an open-air museum.

Next, we will visit Meknes, one of the Moroccan Imperial Cities with a 17th-century heritage. We will stop for lunch and explore the vast historical walls of the medina. After lunch, we will glimpse Bab el Mansour and visit Moulay Ismail’s shrine.
Later, we will drive directly to Fes, where you will spend the night.

DAY 6- FULL DAY IN FES-GUIDED TOUR

After breakfast, you will be taken on a guided tour of the Medina, one of the largest walled cities in the world. You will explore the narrow streets filled with fresh fruits, piles of spices, beautifully woven Berber carpets, and other artifacts representing Morocco’s culture.

During your tour, you will visit places like the Royal Palace, the tanneries, and the potters. You will also have lunch in a traditional restaurant in the heart of Medina. Once you have finished your tour, you will return to your hotel for the evening.

DAY 7: FES-IFRANE- MONKEY FOREST-MIDELT

Today is the perfect day to explore the vibrant Fes Medina and immerse yourself in the local way of life. After taking in the sights and sounds of the city, we’ll have a delicious late lunch an hour away from Fes, in the picturesque town of Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco. But that’s not all. We’ll also stop at Cedar Forest, where you can interact with and feed the playful monkeys, and then continue driving and enjoying the Middle Atlas landscapes to Midelt (the capital of Apple).

DAY 8: MIDELT- ZIZ VALLEY-MERZOUGA

Welcome to your next amazing adventure, the Merzouga Desert! After a well-deserved rest, we will continue our journey through the breathtaking Tizi N Talghamt to reach Errachidia, stopping for a panoramic view of the stunning Ziz Valley.
Finally, we will reach Merzouga, where we’ll embark on an unforgettable camel ride to our camp. Once there, we’ll indulge in a delicious dinner and a magical evening of Berber music under the starry sky.

DAY 9: MERZOUGA OFF-ROAD TOUR

Experience a unique and adventurous trip to the Merzouga region. Watch a breathtaking sunrise, embark on a 4×4 desert adventure, share tea with a nomadic family, experience Gnawa live music at Khamlia Village, and capture incredible panoramic sunset views. Then, relax in a luxurious riad or camp.

DAY 10: MERZOUGA- Er-RISSANI-DODRA GORGE-DADES VALLEY

After enjoying breakfast at your accommodation, we will embark on our journey by exploring the lively local souk in Rissani. This souk was a significant stopping place for the Saharan caravan routes, and you will have the opportunity to discover its hidden treasures.

Our next destination is Erfoud City, where you can learn about this area’s fascinating history and fossils. Be prepared to be amazed by the breathtaking Todra Gorge, Berber villages, and old Kasbahs before settling into your Riad at Dades Valley.

DAY 11: Dadas Valley-Ait Ben Haddou-High Atlas Mountains-Marrakesh

Explore the stunning Dades Gorge, visit the world-famous Atlas Studio in Ouarzazate, and immerse yourself in the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. Enjoy your lunch and journey through the majestic Atlas Mountains, offering awe-inspiring landscapes perfect for capturing memories. Finally, conclude the tour in the enchanting city of Marrakech.

DAY 12: Marrakesh Guided Tour

Today, you will have a sightseeing guided tour. The tour will be led by an experienced local guide who will take you to visit some of Marrakech’s most famous landmarks. These include the Mosque of Koutoubia, the Medina and its souks, narrow alleys, the Saadian Tombs, Bahia and Badi Palaces, Ali Ben Youssef Koranic School, and the beautiful Majorelle Gardens. Once the tour is over, you will be transferred back to your traditional Riad in the Medina.

DAY 13: Marrakesh-Essaouira

Start our day with breakfast in the riad and head towards Essaouira. We will pass through argan forests during our journey and are expected to arrive in Essaouira at around 11:00 am. Once we reach there, we will begin exploring the city, including visiting the Skala Fortress, walking through the medina’s alleys, and viewing various handicrafts. In the evening, you will have free time to wander around, go to the beach, and enjoy the beautiful sunset.

Essaouira is a popular destination for surfers as it has some of the best surfing spots in the world. Despite being occupied by the Portuguese, the city retains its unique character, with blue doors and washed walls. It is often called the Jewel of the Atlantic due to its size and rich history.

Additionally, the city hosts an annual festival of Gnawa music that attracts musicians from all over the world, usually held in the second week of June.

DAY 14: FULL DAY IN ESSAOUIRA

This city is well-known for its lively medina, historical ramparts, and sandy beaches. Spending a day here is the perfect way to explore the local culture, relax by the seaside, and indulge in delicious cuisine while enjoying the laid-back atmosphere at the medina market.
Make sure to attend the fishing port before noon. There, you can see colorful boats floating on the water and fishermen unloading their daily catch. You can also buy fresh seafood and ask the small stands to cook it.

In the evening, return to the wall between the port and the medina or choose one of the many terraces with a sea view to witness the sunset. Every evening, Essaouira’s breathtaking sunset presents a new spectacle that is truly awe-inspiring. Take advantage of this unforgettable experience!

DAY 15: Essaouira-Oualidia-Casablanca

Start your day in Essaouira and then head towards the charming coastal town of Oualidia. As you travel along the scenic coastal road, take in the breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and the rugged coastline. Upon arrival in Oualidia, enjoy the serene ambiance of this picturesque seaside destination. Unwind on the pristine beaches, stroll along the waterfront, or indulge in water sports activities like kayaking or paddleboarding in the tranquil lagoon.

After soaking in the beauty of Oualidia, continue your journey to Casablanca. Here, take a leisurely walk along the Corniche promenade while admiring the panoramic views of the Atlantic sea and the Hassan II Mosque. As the evening approaches, dine in one of the seaside restaurants. Savor the fresh seafood delicacies while watching the sunset over the ocean. Finally, end your day with a restful overnight stay in a hotel.
